On day 10 and I feel better, with discomfort due to sutures but that’s it. I will never suffer again as I did. I do not regret my surgery at all. (Marco Fisher) I had hemorrhoid surgery 12 days ago – I was given tramadol at the hospital but only took one the first night after the operation as I worried opiates might cause constipation which is the last thing I needed. been following the meds strictly (other than the tramadol). using sitz bath after a bowel movement. the deep throbbing pain from the first week has gone but things are still sore though manageable. I have a desk job and have been back at work on day 8 sitting on cushions etc with regular getting up and walking around. have a follow-up with the surgeon on Sunday – I think my surgery was done by laser – here’s hoping will continue to heal. it’s not pleasant but I have to do it.
